Hello Everyone,

I just got two of this RTL-SDR DVB-T dongles from eBay.
I installed SDR# on my W7 laptop and it works fine.

I also installed the included app to receive DVB-T TV, BlazeHDTV 6.0.
It uses a different driver. Installing it the app seems to work, though in NA there are no DVB-T over the air TV stations.
(I plan to use it in EU, when I travel there.)

To use SDR# again, or Rtlsdr_Scanner, that I also installed to test antennas, I have to reinstall the driver.

Switching the drivers in W7 is a PITA, it seems one needs to reinstall it it every time one wants to switch.
W7 does not have hardware profiles any more, like WXP used to have.

Any easier way to manage driver switching?
I also looked briefly on MS sites, I could not find much help there in this regard.

Thanks, Peter

Yep the only way is to switch the drivers each time. Windows doesn't allow for more than one driver to be installed at a time.

But once the drivers have been installed once it's fairly simple to change between them in device manager - > update driver.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the late follow-up.

The "update driver" just invokes the files explorer to select the driver installation program to start.
So it is no different to when I select that same program navigating through the folders and start it up.

Thanks, Peter
