SDR# can't find dongle

The system used to work, a month or so ago.
Now when trying to bring SDR# I get error message "No Device Selected"
I've gone through quick start guide multiple times and run zagdig.
Any suggestions?
Tried on both Win7 and Win10 machines.
Bought new RTL-SDR, same problem.
Thanks
Dennis

Re: Radio Astronomy

Thanks.
I did download the SkyPipe program and it looks like it's going to do what I need.

Radio Astronomy

Basically just looking for a carrier ...

Receiver 'gain'

I connected a signal generator set to 1420 Mhz at -55dBm to the input of the RTL-SDR.
Using SDR# the signal showed a level of -7 dBm.
Wondering if others have similar data.
Thanks

Re: How to record 'waterfall'

Let me rephrase the question.
Is there any software that will record the waterfall?

How to record 'waterfall'

How do I record the data in the waterfall?
I will be scanning using a radio telescope and the waterfall seems like the best way to replay the data to look for blips.
Thanks
