The antenna needs to be aimed at the source of the reflected signal, which in this case is slightly above the horizon. At the moment I have it mounted horizontally. I just wondered if it would be better to still aim it in the same direction, but mount it on its side to receive a vertically polarised...

Hi all, Here in East Sussex I'v spent some time now trying to set up a meteor scatter receiver using the Graves Radar site in France, but so far without sucess.
