Re: Advice for tracking intermittent signal

Intermittant signals are currently a challenge for the KSDR. The KSDR samples a block of data, and then processes it in the DSP code. While it's doing the DSP it cannot continue sampling, so it drops data. If your signal was TX'd during the dropped data period it would be lost. We've still got code ...

Re: rtl test device not founded

Are you running through VirtualBox? I'm not sure if a VM will have enough bandwidth to be able to run more than one USB device. I've also never succeeded with the KSDR on a VM before (with VMWare), there's just too much lag on the USB implementation. Can you check on a Linux machine running on bare ...

Re: Streamlining startup process

Thanks, we're working hard on getting those switches ready for production. Initially we'd hoped for mid 2020, but of course COVID and other factors have unfortunately slowed that down a bit. Definitely before the end of the year, and by then we should also have SW ready which autocalibrates everythi...

Re: Not receiving email when post gets replies, regardless of settings

Looks like an issue in our backend SMTP login. Google stopped accepting the server login, not sure why. Will look into it.

Re: Alternate to parabolic wifi for NASA GOES reception

The Yagi won't be sufficient unfortunately. Only a dish really has enough gain to work at a manageable size. You can create your own feed for goes. Just using an old coffee can, connector and wire for the element. Search the blog for some of older GOES posts as back then before it was discovered tha...

Yes it should work just fine. Just make sure you have all the adapters and cables you need.

Re: Meteor M2

Something has been wrong with M2 itself recently, and it's causing the weird constellation.

Re: MSI.SDR wt Gqrx

The MSI.SDR is a clone of the SDRplay. So you could go through the SDRplay docs and see how to get it running on GQRX.

Re: No sound with SDR# and HackRF one & Portapack

Can you try running the HackRF via HDSDR or SDR-Console to see if the same issue happens?

Re: SDRSharp crash with my RTL-SDR V.3 WHY?

We can't really answer this question because SDR# is not developed by us, so we don't know what internal code changes could have broken it for your machine. You'd be best off asking the Airspy group at airspy.groups.io.
