Re: "magic line" what is this

The magic line is the code you need to paste into the plugins.xml file.

Look for the plugins.xml file in your SDR# folder, right click and open with Notepad. Then paste the magic line at the bottom, save and close. Make sure the plugin .dll is copied to the SDR# folder too.

Re: MSi.SDR sound crackle pulses and spurs

Yeah a while back we looked into designing something like the MSi.SDR with Mirics chips, but decided against it because the Mirics chips have really bad performance without filtering and an LNA (which is what the SDRplay units have to make them work well). A while ago I asked SDRplay/Mirics (SDRplay...

Re: RTL LNA

I've only seen one failed ADS-B unit in the last 500 orders so far so it seems a bit unlikely for 2/3 to fail. What exactly is not working? No signal, no light? Can you confirm if the light turns on (remove one screw to look inside). Is your antenna ESD protected if it's outside? And just to confirm...

The update rate is not showing.
My power is fine - but whenever I set my parameters and click start processing nothing happens.
Can you run all the tuners at once with rtl_test?

And are you using the image, or did you install it yourself?

Re: MSi.SDR sound crackle pulses and spurs

I've actually seen that crackle before on the RSP1, so I don't think it's a defective unit. The problem was something to do with the USB port dropping samples. I changed USB ports and used a better USB cable, and then it was gone. Could also be that your PC is too slow? For spurs, yeah the MSI.SDR i...

Re: Update rate not showing

I'm getting something very similar: [email protected]:/home/pi/kerberossdr# ./run.sh 3 Starting KerberosSDR kill: (4860): No such process [email protected]:/home/pi/kerberossdr# Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/pi/kerberossdr/_signalProcessing/hydra_signal_processor.py", line 169, in ru...

Re: Problem with direction

If you're still around, can you let me know what model phones you tried on?

This is possibly due to the phone being too slow, and the data collection lagging behind a bit. Mapbox must have low priority when updating it's internal GPS heading. I think it can be fixed.

Hey rtlsdrblog, you think maybe you can sell a few of these chips on your webstore?
Unfortunately our contract factory wouldn't allow us to buy the chips directly from them.

Need more info, any particular bands you're interested in? Satellite, terrestrial?
