Re: Spotty Accuracy When Tracking Transmitter

A spacing factor of 0.1 is quite low. When it's this low multipath will heavily skew the results as any multipath tends to "pull" the bearing away from the true result. I know the array will be huge at 121 MHz, but try to keep the spacing factor around 0.3. Make sure you calibrate with the antennas ...

Re: New Ham with a few questions (KerberosSDR, Raspberry PI, upconverter)

I am also a ham, though not a new one. I have a RPi4 2GB, and the KSDR. I have not been able to get the RPi4 to communicate with the KSDR I have: The Type C power supply provided with the RPi4. Batteries that provide [email protected].4A, 30000mAh Numerous power cables including brand new ones. I have set up th...

Re: Receiving NFC signals from contactless card - 13.56MHz HF

14.4 MHz is the Nyquist zone cutoff point, so things can get a bit funky around that frequency. This might be a case where an upconverter with an amplifier is required. You could also try disconnecting the VHF/UHF path by removing C13 (next to D6 by the MCX connector). That might stop some signal lo...

Re: up converter

The V3 doesn't need an upconverter, you can enable direct sampling mode. Instructions at www.rtl-sdr.com/V3

Improved performance can be obtained by using an upconverter, but if you're spending that money, probably better to save a little more for a higher end SDR like a SDRplay or Airspy.

Re: RTL v3 and RTL-1090 stops receiving data

Check if the same problem occurs with SDR# or another program to rule out a software issue.

The dongle frequently disconnecting can mean that the USB power supply on your PC is unstable. If possible also test on another PC, or try with a powered USB hub.

Re: When I connect it to the computer, I am not getting notified.

Those box like RTL-SDRs with two connected PCBs are notorious for having problems. Biggest issue is the device not being seen by the computer...

Re: RTL issues with AMD Ryzen, Windows 10 x64

If one of you have time, could you please also check if our modded drivers work properly? Ryzen is a bit tricky with a lot of bugs with USB.

Re: HOW TO WATCH DVB-T WITH RTL2832U (R820T2)

My virus scanner finds them clean and they're the drivers from the original CD provided with the dongles when they were used as DVB-T tuners. That said, scan them yourself to be sure.

Re: Still can't get KSDR working (Raspberry Pi 4)

We have to rely on the support of the community to troubleshoot issues like this themselves unfortunately. We're a small team working on this part time. I can only put out what works on my setup, and hope that it works everywhere else too. Issues like the Pi firmware becoming incompatible on some bo...
