Re: RTLSDR and USB Full Speed

I think that's only if used as a DVB-T demodulator. Not sure about the IQ mode.

Re: RTL-SDR Component ID help

This is a 1.2v DCDC switching regulator chip. I'm not surprised that it burned up with 12V applied!

Unfortunately it's a Chinese market part, so not easy to get a direct replacement. You'll need to confirm the pinout but something like LM3670MF-1.2/NOPB might work.

Re: rtl_tcp tuner agc problem in android, but not in windows

With the E4000 you need to activate offset tuning for it to work properly. There should be a setting in the Android app.

Re: Connecting RTL-SDR V3 on master antenna system in the building

The roof antenna will most likely be a Yagi directional antenna pointing to a TV tower. So it will receive the TV signals well, but everything else not in that direction poorly. That said, reception of other signals may still be better than with the indoor antenna. It should be safe to connect to yo...

Re: UCA antenna spacing for UWB DOA

Are you testing indoors or in a high multipath environment? As the spacing factor reduces with lower frequency, you will start to see multipath skew results much more significantly for a fixed size array. There's really no way around using two or more different sized arrays for direction finding if ...

Re: Resizing Kerberos software for 6.8"' screen

You might need to adjust the settings in the Pi's config.txt, https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/config-txt/video.md We had to make some special settings in config.txt order to make the resolution work properly through VNC, that might prevent it from displaying properly on a sma...

Re: Minimum amount of antennas

The Kerberos software expects 4 to work.

The new Kraken code can support an arbitrary number of antennas however.

Re: ADSB with high-end Arduino?

The drivers require a Linux OS, so you'll definitely need something capable of running an OS first of all. The IQ data does come in in real time, so you do need a CPU to process the DSP too. A Pi Zero is probably the minimum spec you can use.
