Re: I need some advice in creating IQ processing software

There are many many c fft implementations out there, I'm sure you can find one that's not GPL licensed. Here is one: https://www.nayuki.io/page/free-small-fft-in-multiple-languages And many more on github (check the licenses of each): https://github.com/search?l=C&q=fft&type=Repositories 2.4 MSPS pr...

Re: GNU Radio isn't working with RTL-SDR

I had the same problem. The fix was to use an older version of the windows installer: Latest/broken version: v3.7.13.5/v1.6 Working older version: v3.7.11.1/v1.3 Alternately, the user Mazilla suggested the following: Try to set 'Device argument' in 'RTL-SDR Source' to 'rtl=1' Here was my post about ...

Re: Data buffering of rtl

That likely means your computer is too slow to run the program. The processing can't keep up with new data, and a backlog of events/callbacks is created that gets bigger and bigger. You probably need a faster computer, or you could try reducing sample rate of the SDR.

Re: Trouble with GNU Radio and RTL-SDR on Windows

Solved the issue by reverting to an older version of GNU Radio.

Latest/broken version: v3.7.13.5/v1.6
Working older version: v3.7.11.1/v1.3

Hope this helps anyone else with the same issue.

Re: Trouble with GNU Radio and RTL-SDR on Windows

I tried directly downloading the windows builds of the gr-osmosdr and rtl-sdr 0.5.3 blocks from here: http://www.gcndevelopment.com/gnuradio/downloads.htm And copied the dlls into the <gnu radio install>\bin folder, and the .lib files into the <gnu radio install>\lib folder. Now I'm getting an actua...

Trouble with GNU Radio and RTL-SDR on Windows

I'm trying to get a basic setup of GNURadio working with the RTL-SDR on my Windows 7 x64 machine. I'm using the latest pre-built binary windows installer of GNURadio: http://www.gcndevelopment.com/gnuradio/downloads.htm The basic signal source/sink block examples are working fine. But I'm having tro...

Re: MATLAB ... but what about C# ....

I write C# code for the RTL-SDR. The link by rtlsdrblog is a good one, you can also browse the source code for an older version of SDR# here: https://github.com/cgommel/sdrsharp It involves using dllimport like this: public const string LibRtlSdr = "rtlsdr.dll"; [DllImport(LibRtlSdr, EntryPoint = "r...

Re: Big problem whit SDR# software

Just posted the same answer on another thread, but it might apply here too: It might be the speed of your computer limiting things. SDR# is not nearly as efficient as HDSDR on older machines. If it sounds choppy and you're seeing a full core of CPU loading (25% for quad-core, 50% for dual-core, etc)...
