Re: Trying to open my weird Garage with radio at 434Mhz

I haven't experimented with garage doors yet, but does your system happen to use a rolling code (does the transmitted signal change each time you hit the button on the remote)? If not, try adjusting the timings a bit. I have done some tests with a doorbell and certain remote power switches - some of...

Re: Unknow signal

Wait, what signal are we talking about here?
I assumed it was the strong curvy white one on the waterfall.
Because the waterfall Remon posted seems different although they do seem to sound similar.

Re: Unknow signal

That signal looks screwed. I don't see any data in it unless it's some weird wideband modulation, but why the hell does it jump all around like that and it seems to be poorly filtered? Looks as if some device is constantly restarting itself at irregular intervals.

Yo, are you maybe selling these on ebay too?
The paypal button is kind of broken for me on tindie, and I'm not brave enough to share the credit card data.

Re: Custom 400-406 MHZ bandpass filter?

As an entry-level RF enthusiast I've tried to build my own filters, but I was told that it's much better to just buy already made filters instead because they are going to be of much better quality than anything I'm ever going to come up with. If you're into filters and want to learn stuff then sure...

Re: Where do you buy these tiny aluminum enclosures?

Hello! Thanks, I also received them recently, but I noticed a few differences. The current enclosures have a shiny surface; previous batch had a matte finish They're unbranded (no logo printed on the surface) There are only 2 screw holes available on the side panels compared to 4 in the previous bat...

Re: Unknown high pitch continues beep with data bursts

I've seen this type of signal too. It just beeps for most of the time and occasionally there are some data bursts on it. Mine was near 434 MHz though (south Europe). No idea what it is for.

Re: Splatter, noise or ? 450.675 MHz

Probably not. The restaurant pagers seem to ping randomly and are not associated with any periodic pattern. This makes sense because customers will have their food prepared at different time intervals (delays). Finally you can probably correlate the frequency of pings with the number of customers in...

Re: Splatter, noise or ? 450.675 MHz

That looks like some variant of 4FSK. Did you pick up this signal near a restaurant perhaps? I think some pagers use this exact frequency.

Looks like 2FSK to me. The two peaks are the two alternating frequencies.
