Re: Power connection question

have not observed any throttling. i will then propose the current meter i have is smoothing the readings. power source is a RAVPower 4-USB supply and has proved to be an improvement over the 'official' Raspi power supply. also using a short USB cable to the Raspi.

Re: Watson Watt Direction Finding

"Watson-Watt" (hyphenation) or "pair of Adcock" (one pair for N-S, another for E-W) .. single channel direction finding.
why do that when your KSDR offers you single channel correlative interferometry?

Re: semi-passive radar

Assuming "1000V" is a peak voltage (plus and minus), that is 354 Vrms and into a 50 ohm load would be 2.5 kW.

Re: KerberosSDR as a simple RTL-SDR replacement tuner? Seriously.

there's a world of difference between the USB hardware implementation on the RPi3B+ and pretty much any other computer. did you know the RPi shares the same bus for USB and the Ethernet port? It's best not to expect too much from the RPi and do lots of testing before setting your hopes too high. may...

Re: semi-passive radar

About Ground Penetrating RADAR. Requires a high voltage (Deadly 1000 Volts) 400 MHz Pulsed Transmitter driving a bow-tie antenna inside a large box facing the ground that's a hint for the person contemplating homebrew ground-pentrating radar. the hint being: the path loss from transmitter to receiv...

Re: KerberosSDR as a simple RTL-SDR replacement tuner? Seriously.

at the time i set my serial numbers, there was no information available about what (if anything) might already be in the KSDR eeproms. being exceedingly cautious, i used a "least number of bytes changed" method in an attempt to preserve any 'magic bytes' in the eeprom the KSDR software might need. n...
