How can you store frequencies and then scan them?
Like the title says. I want to scan some frequencies on sdr# by putting them into a memory that the sdr later can scan. For example. The CB channels, some PMR channels and so on.

I am just wondering if a Aspire 5100 could handle sdr #? And the rtl sdr I am talking about is the 3rd version. Do you need an upconverter for Sw listening?
I just want to listen to MW and SW. But i have heard of that you need a upconverter. Do you really need that or is it just for perfection? I am going to listen from 1000 kHz to around 20-30 MHz. I am talking about the version 3.0
