it may be multi-threading bug in the SDR#. SDR# uses multi-threading very intensively and if there is some sync bugs (for example not using memory barrier) it may not be seen on a usual multi-threaded CPU but can be caught on multi core CPU with separate cache.

Did you tried HDSDR?

According to the RTL2832U datasheet "Supports USB Full/High speed"

I didn't tried it, but it will be interesting if it supports Full Speed mode.

It's hard to say what is going on wrong somewhere with no magic ball :)

If you post at least screenshot with HDSDR it will be possible to say something about your case...

Usually such thing may happens due to input overload, incorrect gain setting etc.

you can mix two antennas with splitter, but it will leads to some signal loss, about 6 dB for 1-2 splitter. By the way, both of your antenna looks not good, they have too wide bandwidth. 12-bit ADC running at 64 MHz for 550 USD is too expensive.

For such a price I would expect 16-bit ADC running at 122.88 MHz + 14-bit DAC running at 400 MHz, with a good low noise LNA. programmable attenuator, 4-8 receivers and two transmitters (it requires FPGA with about 50-100 kLE).

high signal strength doesnt means that antenna is better. The better antenna provides better SNR (signal to noise ratio).
