Re: SDRSharp -v- HDSLR

But not, it seems, the initial screen, certainly dragging the corner moves the whole window across the screen. Without doubt it is a very messy interface and not one that would give me pleasure to use. Thanks for your response.

Re: SDRSharp -v- HDSLR

Thanks for your comments, radiolistener. The hardware was given to me by an amateur radio friend and is one marketed by Waters & Stanton under their Watson brand. He said that he couldn't get on with using a mouse and much preferred to twiddle knobs on a conventional receiver. He said that the Watso...

Re: SDRSharp -v- HDSLR

I have the v3 with the inbuilt upconvertor and it performs well with SDRSharp. All test results were produced within minutes of each other on the same long wire antenna. I tried to add this information shortly after my last post, but the Forum software wouldn't let me add another posting and I coul...

Re: SDRSharp -v- HDSLR

If you pass just the audio, you get persistent messages that it can't successfully translate narrow band audio. Furthermore, I fed 6 call signs that it had translated into QRZ and not one was recognised. I contacted the author of CW Skimmer on two occasions. He suggested it would work far better wit...

Re: SDRSharp -v- HDSLR

Just seems very insensitive and nothing I twiddle seems to improve its performance.

Re: SDRUno + RTL-SDR V3 + Windows 10

Version 1.2 definitely a non-starter with itr's small fixed screens and my failing eyesight. It sort of works, but not a patch on SDRSharp. The problem with SDRSharp is that it doesn't have an IQ output for morse decoders. Thanks for your response.

Re: SDRUno + RTL-SDR V3 + Windows 10

Well, nice to have the latest, Tim_rtd, but that might be the answer - thanks.

SDRUno + RTL-SDR V3 + Windows 10

Has anyone got this combination to work successfully? I've adhered strictly to the installation article & both SDRSharp and HDSDR work, so why should I get the messge "No available RSPs found. Please check USB cables, device drivers, or if the RSP is in use in another application"? I would be gratef...

SDRSharp -v- HDSLR

New member using RTL-SDR V3 with inbuilt upconvertor. I have several questions so I will number them:- 1. With SDRSharp I have to insert a -40,000,000 offset. Do I have to do this with HDSLR and if so where? 2, Plenty of ham band signals on SDRSharp and I would dearly love to continue using it. But ...
