Re: Troubles with enabling noise source kerberosSDR

Don't click the Update button! Just click the Enable Noise Source and Disable Noise source button only.

This confused me for a little while too.

Try again. The latest version is better in my opinion.

Re: Streamlining startup process

I've gotten used to disconnecting the antennas after a DF session and then putting them back on after calibration prior another. I added male SMA to female SMA buffers on all the antenna ports to stop further wear on the KSDR connectors. I am using two sets of antennas with a common North (front) el...

Re: DF DMR active on single TS

Assuming you are trying to find a mobile/HT user on the DMR repeater input, I would think you would still have to DF on their carrier. The mobile user can only transmit on one time slot at a time so it doesn't matter which one it is.

I've never tried however.

Re: Possible Bug in v1.6.1

Oh never mind. I don't need to click the Update button after I've clicked Enable or Disable. My mistake.

Possible Bug in v1.6.1

Last weekend I was able to use the new version nicely. Today I cannot sync. Using the web interface, if I click on the [Enable Sync display and Noise source] button then the [Update] button the Noise Source checkbox turns off and I have no carriers to sync. I can't get the Noise bridge to turn on to...

Re: KerberosSDR Developments in 2020

v1.6.x is awesome. Thank you for the threshold input boxes on the compass. The speed improvement is great.

In the next release could you please enable the ssh server? The only reason I need VNC Viewer is so I can get in and turn that on.

Thanks for the great product.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Compatible Image Released

The v1.5 image works great on the Pi 4. The Hydra compass updates twice per second, double the speed of v1.4 on the Pi 3B+. I have an in-vehicle WiFi hotspot so I updated wpa_supplicant.conf to join that SSID and it works fine. I also cloned the compass.html and dependent files into compassl.html fo...

Re: KerberosSDR Developments in 2020

I downloaded the V1.5 release today and love it. - Lockable gain controls are great. - Antenna spacing entry instead of radius/lambda is great - Compass is no longer mirror image! I see there is an experimental 90 degree option (not functional) and I wonder if this was related to my earlier request ...

Re: Feature requests / development ideas

Oh!! Another suggestion! How about a broken (Dashed) DOA blue line during an absence of receive signal? I'd like to have filter inputs for power and confidence on the compass page. If the minimums are not met then the arrow is simply hidden. As the confidence increases over the filter threshold the...

Re: Feature requests / development ideas

In the DF process, as you get closer to the source it would be beneficial to insert attenuation into the Antenna system to counter increased multipath. (of course those changes would require stopping and re-calibration with any antenna changes.) I've thought some about this too, and I'm building an...
