Re: Feature requests / development ideas

Another idea... For the UCA antenna arrangement (maybe ULA also), rather than have to set the lambda in the DOA Estimation page, how about just an entry for the antenna element spacing. Then have the software figure out the radius. If you change frequencies and don't adjust the antenna spacing then ...

Re: Feature requests / development ideas

Perhaps the "manual mode bearing" setting will help you when using compass or GPS as well. I cannot try myself because I have no car of my own. I always work from fixed points. If it does not work, record a log file as usual. Then try to change "bearing mode" to manual when plotting the log, and se...

Re: Feature requests / development ideas

More ideas... yes, sorry. After using for a while... so. 1. A way to listen to audio from one of the RTLs (select one or just #1 only) by either a jack on the side of the KerberosSDR housing or from the Pi Audio jack or maybe Bluetooth (to an earpiece or car). 2. A add a squelch control in software ...

Feature requests / development ideas

1. The radius of 4 antennas on the roof in the North/East/West/South arrangement of my car barely fits across the roof (specifically the East to West dimension). Would it be possible to have an option that would allow the array to be rotated 45 degrees so the antennas can be placed in a NW, NE SE, S...

Re: Freezing when Noise Source enabled (v1.4)

It works! I switched to a pair of Samsung mobile phone AC adapters, the kind marked with "Adaptive Charging" - even though that feature is unused in this application. I chose these because they have 2 Amps output but more importantly provide 5.2 VDC. The Pi consumes about 600ma and the KSDR about 1A...

Re: Freezing when Noise Source enabled (v1.4)

I'll have to find a strong USBA supply and get a USBA to USBC cable so I can put my USB(A) power analyzer inline to watch what is happening to voltage and current.

I will update with findings later.

Thanks for the reply.

Freezing when Noise Source enabled (v1.4)

Installed the v1.4 version on a Pi3B+ connected to a KerberosSDR from an earlier shipment (borrowed from a friend). The KerberosSDR is powered from a 3A USBC adapter. The Pi 3B+ is powered by another 3A USBA adapter. It doesn't seem to matter if I turn them on simultaneous or in sequence (KSDR, then...

Re: New version of kerberosSDR app

Thanks for the assist. I thought for a moment the Pi wasn't auto-connecting to the KerberosAndroid SSID because I had it connected on my LAN by Ethernet cable, but I've disconnected and restarted everything and I don't see it connecting to the AP. I am using the rpi3_kerberossdr_image_090519.img ima...

Re: New version of kerberosSDR app

I'm on the wait list for the next shipment and watching developments here so please forgive my ignorance. I think I understand the way this is supposed to be put together based on the videos, but how do you get Internet access on the device you're using for turn-by-turn navigation if it's connected ...
