Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

I feel like VPN choice will be a highly debated topic. There are a lot of options, people are into different pieces of software. Personally, I like OpenVPN. This could become just as intense as the vi vs emacs wars. Ah! but they will quickly come to their senses and chose Wireguard and those vi & e...

Re: Phones/devices that work with the app

Moto G5 plus and up is working pretty good for me. Actually, this G line of Moto phone is surprisingly inexpensive and the G5 is left at Android 8.1 ....you should be able to find one for $50 to $75 .... Willing to invest a little more .... look at G6 ....G7 will be around $200 buck in time for Chri...

Re: Android app crash

My last look into opening log files that were not in the Downloads/KerberosSDR of course crashed. .... but when I was exploring Android App Crash logs, they indicated a permission problem, but made no sense because the folders and files had the same permissions of the same owner???? For Info - I was...

Re: Getting Started Guide Needed

Dougga, the link provided is the best info, but sounds like you are at a starting point to write that documentation as you compile answers to those questions! Certainly not me.... been 15+ years since I was 40 something - in fact so long since I graduated my college degree probably expired my now :l...

Re: Android app crash

I have had a similar issue. In the Android app, try setting -> Open Log and confirm your path a .csv file is ..../Downloads/KerberosSDR (if not get into KerberosSDR folder and load any current .csv file -- if there is not one in that folder...uninstall and reinstall Android app. ...you can uncheck P...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Compatible Image Released

Pi4 is about the same speed as the Tinkerboard. Only having a Pi3 B+ your scale of reference is still a mystery  ....using the Pi3 I see RF samples captured at 400 to 700 ms .... using Tinker or Pi4 how much does that improve? Is it possible to install all required python and python modu...

Anything pros / cons over the current build from github? Any benchmark (running KerberosSDR software) pi4 vs pi3?

Turning off spectrum display

As I read - and it makes sense to turn off 'Spectrum Display' in order to reduce CPU load - improve performance. How about the DOA graphing(not phase differential calculations, but the DOA graph display cannot be turned off?) - is there a performance hit for continual plotting of the DOA graph?
