Re: Edditing Kerberos

I can program in Python, Java, C++, C and others. What I am trying to figure out is where I can go to edit the application as a whole and debug errors that are preventing the application from launching. I'm sure I'm going to need an external application, and my question is what application, and wha...

Re: Antenna for kerberossdr

It'll work. You may find the tolerance on the length of the cables isn't tight enough, and if that's the case you'll have to cut and re-terminate them so they're all within a centimeter of each other. The gain on those antennas will be very poor, but it won't matter if the signal is strong enough.

Re: Spacing Calc Help

Then simply enter your inter-element spacing in meters. No need to do all that math.

Re: Spacing Calc Help

Space it based on the yellow line and just put that measurement into the software. If it's more than 0.2m, you'll get good readings, assuming your cable lengths all match perfectly. Please clarify the "If it's more than 0.2m, you'll get good readings" part of the post. I haven't seen that measureme...

Re: New Antenna for Kerberos SDR

Awesome! I ordered a dual bander and look forward to receiving it. If it works out well I'll be ordering a couple more.

I am working on a source for waterproof BNC connectors. It is my understanding that they exist. My supplier is looking for me.
If you have to look that hard for them, they'll probably be more expensive than going with a threaded connector.

Re: New Antenna for Kerberos SDR

If you can do that with a second set of driven elements for 440 I would definitely pay ~$150 for it. As for the coax length, 25-30 ft would be better with connectors that are a bit more water tight than BNC. Definitely keep a tight tolerance on the coax lengths for each array.

Re: GUI modification

You're better off directly modifying the existing python file. When I added the uniform gain and a few other things, I quickly realized the existing python GUI files were already heavily modified. It's organized pretty well at least, so it's not too hard to do. Running that script with the output of...

Re: Android installation issue

A tablet that's less than $50? If it were me, I'd steer clear of it. The reason the app isn't installing is probably because the tablet lacks some required hardware.
