Re: KerberosSDR Developments in 2020

Here is my home brew solution. A simple set of 4*5V relays in a metal case. There is a switch to disconnect the antennas. Runs on 3 * 1.5v AA Batteries. I calibrate using the Android software, then throw the switch to connect the antennas and it seems to give reasonable results. P1.png Here are a co...

I like your point 4.

Maybe with the new 8 ch version.

4 receivers hooked on to a known.

The other 4 looking for the fox.

Re: Streamlining startup process

Early adopters. TowerGuy100. I suspect that we both fall into that group called 'early adopters'. The product isn't quite there. Needs a bit (OK a quite a bit) of tweaking, prodding and poking. But boy oh boy... even this early version, when set-up properly, blows everything else out of the water (f...

Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

Having the SMA on top of the units would be a major inconvenience for connecting cables, so please consider an option where the SMA pigtails can be moved to some front or back panel instead. I agree with the above comment from Stromeko. There is space on the back panel for the 4 SMA's (in a square/d...

Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

Nice. Any chance of elevating the LED's so they can be seen more clearly? Or will that compromise point 6. Never been a fan fan. ;-) Would a bit more metal-work work instead? Point 9. Is the 'Top' where the 40 pin header comes out? Point 7. I like the idea of placing some distance/different plane be...

Re: Newbie and first thoughts

I have put a small video together using my iPhone but this is some 76MB in size. (38 seconds). I will see if I can find a video converter to reduce the size of the .MOV file. Any recommendations? In the video, I pan between the Nextion and the RPi then I key up (435.000 mhz) and you can see the targ...

Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

My bad

Just suggested a few features for v3 before finding this thread.

In my defence, we are post v2 so maybe that was OK.

More to follow..

Re: Connectors

Correction

The USB-3 connections seem to be much more reliable compared to microUSB.
