Re: confused: spectrum analizer and sdr

Yes. Touchstone Pro from Nutsaboutnets.com is intended for use with the RFExplorer, it does support an RTL-sdr device and the app defaults to the UHF Wireless Audio chunk from 470-600 I don't find my RTL at the moment to cert my statement as all I find at my desk is my Airspy mini and RSP1. oh yes a...

Re: RTL SDR dont work on Asus Prime B350 Pluse + Win7 x64

the USB ports are in the Ryzen chip, not the southbridge.. Thus WIn 7 does not support them..
Ryzen chip set needs win10 for full functionality.

Re: HF/VHF spyverter and RTL

The Nooelec Ham-It-Up up-converter provides a pass-thru switch which leaves you just needing a normal antenna switch.
Otherwise I bet one could use an old TV A/B switch with F-SMA adaptors

Re: RSP1A with SDR# v1668

That is Yousef's intent..
I have all the Airspy stuff except the HF+ but I have no use for SDR#, just SpectrumSpy.
Otherwise I use HDSDR and SDR-Console or SDRUno.. I do have an RSP1 and RSP2

Re: SDR for xDSL spectrum analysis

ah so much for wiki answers.. I would us a 9:1 Balun (from the RLT-SDR store)and maybe put .1uf capacitors in the DSL side. you could 'scope the DSL side.. a Dry DSL might not have 48v.. and a ring signal can go as high as 100+volts. in the end I think you still only get 2+ mhz bandwidth so you need...

Re: SDR for xDSL spectrum analysis

from the web: All of the DSL achieve their high speeds in the same way by sending data over previously unused frequencies in phone lines. Voice signals travel over phone lines at frequencies ranging from 0 kHz to 4 kHz. Standard modems use the same frequencies, but DSL uses frequencies between 25 kH...

Re: RTL-SDR may burn a phone

OK.. I stand corrected..
Wow, my V3 only pulls 120 ma.. I wonder what yours was pulling?

I did not bring up sdr# and start the RTL.. 290 ma.. so the 120 ma was the static draw with no app addressing it..
