Why record? :o Some different idea try to use GNU Radio. The normal Dongle have a Bandwith with 2Mhz so you need just a Hand full and you can record 2, 3, 4, 5,... Channels per Dongle on the Same Time. If you buy a Wideband SDR you have ~10Mhz Bandwith. I would recommend to use an Powerfull Server f...

The most company (who know about secure RF Stuff) it called "Rolling Code" hat mean the Run the Signal over an Encryption and wihtout brake it its not possible to make an own code.

a) reduce the Image Size.
b) if you have an SDR use SDR# if not c)
c) buy an SDR
With that i would say nobody could say what it is.
