Re: What is simplest software that will direct sample with an appropriate sample frequency?
I should clarify that to note that it's the ADC sampling at 28.8 MHz. However after the ADC the RTL2832U down samples that to a 3.2 MHz MAX BW.

Re: RTL-SDR, Pi, NOAA, Bandwidth setting
Can you upload here what your image looks like? There are no images on your web server. Edit: It eventually loaded. Yeah your images show that you've received absolutely no signal at all. Only the background map that comes from the software is showing. You'll want to check your signal first with a G...

Re: RTL-SDR Receiver (Bluebox) does not want at all.
Unfortunately i'd have to say that the windows disconnect sound happening when you start the dongle would probably mean that the dongle is faulty. That brand/type do have a very high fault rate from what i've seen. You can also try using a high quality USB cable. Sometimes the cables that come with ...

Re: RTL-SDR, Pi, NOAA, Bandwidth setting
Are you just getting the outline? If so that might mean that you're actually not getting any signal or audio. How are you getting the data or audio out of the Pi? Can you first try to visualize the signal coming in on SDR# etc? You can use rtl_tcp and connect to the Pi remotely. You'll just need to ...

I would say so, since currently it's pretty much impossible to ship to India from China due to silly political reasons.

Re: Are these valid RTL-SDR products ?
Anyone can manufacture an RTL-SDR, we just have a bunch of people cloning our specific design and/or brand, presumably because ours is the best design out there since we did put a lot of research into it :) NooElec is another reputable brand and they have decent designs, but I wouldn't bother with t...

Re: Modify RTL-SDR Wideband LNA for HackRF TX
If you have an external bias tee you should be able to easily power it in reverse. Connect the LNA IN port to the HackRF RF port, then the bias tee to the LNA OUT port. You could also use the external bias tee to take power from the HackRF RF port, and wire it directly to the power pads on the LNA P...

Re: RTL-SDR (USB) not in the Source menu
If something corrupted on your SDR# install, just redownload a new version and do the quickstart guide again.
Also noting that there is a very recent update, and the source is now called "RTL-SDR USB (Original)"

Re: To near to the RF source?
What was the RF source, and what was it's power output? If it's just something like a HackRF, it should be fine.

Re: The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: radio hd
The phpbb forum software is a bit limited. It won't allow searches with words less than 3 characters. Better to use Googles search algorithms instead in those cases.
