Re: RTL1090imu.exe will not install

Thanks for replying. As I have been fighting this problem for weeks now and getting not very far, I forget where I downloaded RTL1090imu. I have received information from you tube and tinhat ranch and other places. I have downloaded dump1090 and am also at loss there as to how and where this progra...

Re: Driver installation failed on Windows 10

For some reason after the Windows 10 1903 update my dongle quit working and I got the same error message when trying to reinstall the driver with Zadig. USBDriverTool worked fine though. With me the Zadig tool does not work at all with Win10 1903, latest update. Screenshot attached Looks like Zadig...

Re: Adjustable Matching Transformer Exist ??

Yeah that's an antenna tuner.

But remember that by matching impedance you're only affecting SWR. Things like radiation patterns and antenna gain are also dependent on proper antenna sizing.

Re: Boxx Antenna?

Looks like with the switch you can flip it between a monopole (top element), and a dipole (the two horizontal elements)

Re: Wideband LNA waterproof?

It's not waterproof. A few splashes on the outside won't hurt it, but over time you need to be concerned with eventual water ingress and corrosion.

Usually for outdoor units people will use a watertight box with cable glands, and put things like LNAs etc inside.

Re: RTL1090imu.exe will not install

Where are you downloading rtl1090imu from? It's possible that the rtl1090 website and project are recently dead as I cannot load their website anymore, it just redirects to jetvision. If their website and servers are down, it won't download. Most people are using dump1090 https://github.com/MalcolmR...

Re: How to identify the signal I received every second

Have a scan around the air, marine and CB bands to see if there is any overly strong signal that could be overloading the dongle.

Re: Using RTL-SDR with Bluetooth wireless earbuds

Probably an issue with USB bandwidth or processing power.

Keep the sample rate at 2048000 when troubleshooting. 3200000 is going to cause more issues with drops that are unrelated to your current issue.

Re: RTL.SDR Chinese USB Device

Did you go through our guide at www.rtl-sdr.com/QSG?

If you went through it and all the troubleshooting section, then it's probably faulty. Those boxes seem to have a very high fault rate from what i've seen.
