Re: RTL-SDR V3 Range Works

A disk cone antenna works good also , just make sure you get one that has a " N " connector on it .

At that point I said the hell with it and deleted it . I think it was written by programmers for programme...

Re: Airspy HF+ Gain conntrol

The other is in the Ether , meaning the atmosphere , sky , space what ever the antenna see's . Now the sun is what makes the noise floor that comes in from the an...

Airspy HF+ Gain conntrol

The way I see it the HF+ is running at max gain , this hides the weak signals in the noise floor . Well last century I had gotten a RF signal attenuator from Radio shack ( remember them ) . Now I can do some righteous DXing . The HF+ with the RF signal attenuator in front of it is a good combination...

Re: Airspy HF+

Hi Hotpaw2 . I am running windows 10 so macOS, Linux and Raspberry Pi doesn't do me any good I am also software changed . Re: Airspy HF+

Hi Jel . If I were you as a starter way to get into this hobby is to buy a MFJ 1020C and the RTL V3 . That would save you eighty dollars as apposed to buying the airspy HF+ . The V3 and MFJ 1020C is a grate match . I can't recommend the HF+ because of lack of software to run it . SDR Sharp software ...

Re: Airspy HF+

Thank you for giving me that website . I now can run airspy HF+ on HDSDR . Their is a problem the controls in extio aren't working . Now I know that some of the controls work when the program is running and some controls work when the program is stopped. I also find the same to be true when using SD...
