50 ohm to 200 ohm matching transformer

I was told by a friend to make my thread simple about the T37-43 toroid with 200 ohm on the secondary . Well here it goes , I found that Mini-Circuits makes a RF matching transformer ( T16-6T-KK81 , part number ) that gives about 19DB higher signal that T37-43 toroid with 200 ohm on the secondary . ...

Sound Card

I have gotten to the point were I would like to start decode radio signals . Now I am not sure were I read that I would need a good sound card to do the decoding because the sound chip the mother of the computer isn't good enough to do the job . More on T37-43 toroid and Independence on the secondary .

I have been messing around with different turns and I found the more turns on the secondary, it gives you more signal amplitude . Well I found a calculator on line for matching transformers , I have included the web site for everyone . I made two of them . Since I am using 75 ohm cable , I used the ...

My reply to me1900

I don't understand why you would try to hookup a balanced transmission line like 450 ohms to a unbalanced 50 ohm input . You would have to make a matching transformer that would take the 450 ohm balanced transmission line and make it to 50 ohms unbalanced input for the primary winding to the T37-43 ...

Re: The matching transformer and toride T37-43 & DIRECT SAMP

Well I will try this again , I was hopping to find out if anybody was using any of the mini - circuits matching transformers for the direct sampling method on the rtl-sdr dongles . In the hobbyist's guide to rtl-sdr the author makes the statement that no one knows what the input Independence is for ...

The matching transformer and toride T37-43 & DIRECT SAMPLING

Hi to everyone . I am new to this forum . I haven't found much talk about the T37-43 toroid and Independence on the secondary . I have found a on line calculator for matching transformers . Since I am using 75 ohm cable , I used the numbers that It gave me for seventy five ohms on the primary . I am...
