Inmarsat with spyserver ?

Hello, Is it possile to decode Inmarsat with this spyserver : sdr://85.183.11.108 ? I can see lots of signals but I don't know which one is an Inmarsat signal. I tried to follow the tutorial with no success. What other interesting things can I do with that L band spyserver ? Thanks for your help. re...

Re: Spyserver client for Android ?

I don't get good results with rtl_tcp. I'm using a Raspberry Pi which is on the second floor and the router is on the ground floor. Maybe I need a gigabit powerline adapter.
Thanks again for your help.
Regards,
James.

Re: Pinnacle Miro PCTV

Hello, I used to use this TV card to 'descramble' a French TV channel called 'Canal +'. In those days, it was analog terrestrial TV. I bought that particular card because it had a chip called BT848, which was necessary to descramble 'Canal +'. (I don't know why, maybe something to do with video over...

Re: GPS patch antenna modification.

Hello again, The components are so small that I won't manage to remove them. I'm not very good at using soldering irons. I'm not really interested in GPS signals, I just wanted to try the antenna. I would like to try to receive and decode inmarsat messages from ships. I've tried using the rtl-sdr fo...

Re: GPS patch antenna modification.

I don't know much about electronics, but I can't see the bandpass filter. The inside of my antenna isn't the same as the one on page 196 of the RTL-SDR guide book. I tried the antenna on an oven tray in my back yard (a small yard with walls all around it). I managed to get 3 SMALL bars in rtknavi, n...

Re: GPS patch antenna modification.

Hello, Thanks for answering. https://m.fr.aliexpress.com/s/item/32788800179.html I managed to receive a few GPS satellites (but not enough to locate me), so I know that the antenna works. I'm using the rtl-sdr v3 to power it. I can't see any strong signals in sdr#. I haven't tried with an extra LNA....

GPS patch antenna modification.

Hello,

I've just received a GPS patch antenna from Aliexpress. What do I need to take out of the antenna to use it for inmarsat? The inside of my antenna doesn't look the same as the one on the rtl-sdr.com website. I can't see the bandpass filter.
Thanks for your help.

James
