Re: SDR# Plugin Manager Suite RELEASED

Hi Eddie, just wondering; how difficult would it be for you to create a scanner-plugin, and is it something you are considering doing? I ask because the 2 scanners I am aware of, for SDR#, don't do USB-signals very well (Airbands in the HF-region use that) Both scanners work well at higher frequenci...

Re: Airspy HF+ Gain conntrol

HF+ is running at max gain , this hides the weak signals in the noise floor . Since you found your answer, I hope it's ok I ask a side-question in this thread, since it's partly related to your topic. I know, from own experience with SDR-reception, that raising the gain too much hides weak signals....

Just for the record; NOAA's sat-data is public domain. Perfectly legal to receive and publish by anybody.

Re: SDRplay to announce a new product at Hamvention

Looking forward to hearing more about this radio, and perhaps updating the setup I use :)

Thanks for the heads-up on this.

Re: Anybody speaking russian?

Just a quick update, if anybody is still curious.

I got this message, from the web-site: https://www.numbers-stations.com, about the videos:
Two callsigns; Luchnik sends Vestnik coded message and its repeated because of bad reception. Military communications.

Re: Use TV antenna

TV antennas are by design tuned and optimized for TV signals. So you'll get good TV signals, but not very good reception on other signals. I have tried 3 different TV-antennas and agree with what rtlsdrblog says. The only exception is a rabbit-ears (bunny-ears, V-dipole, whatever people call it), w...

Re: Anybody speaking russian?

They came back... Same frequency, same modulation. I still don't know what this is though. But here's a second video with even more things going on. A few points of interest in this video: One station making calls for the first 2½ minutes. He appears to get no reply. At 5 minutes 15: A Rapid swoopin...

Anybody speaking russian?

I just recorded this a few hours ago... it's somebody speaking Russian... I think it may be some kind of maritime talk, as the frequency-plan I have says this frequency is allocated to maritime use. It's 5106 kHz, USB (It appears to be about 1000 Hz wider than normal USB band-width though) I edited ...

Re: paInvalidSampleRate

Did you check the sound-card sample-rate settings? On SDR#'s audio-tab, you select sample-rate and which output to use. The sound-card output must support the sample-rate you try to use. For example; if sample-rate is set to 192000, but your sound-card supports up to 48000, then you will run into tr...
