Hey,
I’ve got a somewhat large satellite dish on my roof that I don’t use for TV anymore. I was wondering if I could replace the small satellite receiver with my own anttenna (like a simple dipole) and use it as a directional antenna.

custom 400-406 MHZ bandpass filter?
Hey,
Im trying to receive Radiosondes with my RTL-SDR and im getting alot of strong interference from a nearby transmitter (@ 409.824 MHZ.). Is there any way i could easily build (or buy) a band pass filter for the 400-406 MHZ range?

Re: Can't receive anything.
you should only use AGC when browsing alot, generally Tuner AGC is better than RTL AGC. Its generally better to set the gain manually though. the SDR# users guide has some good info on how the settings work in SDR#.

Re: Possible Radiosonde? help
It could be RS92-SGP, the bandwidth is about the same. I can’t do any proper signal analysis till I get my amplifier.

Possible Radiosonde? help
I have been getting this signal @401.011 MHZ and i dont know what it is. i am looking for an iMet radiosonde that i can track and this doesnt look like iMet, the bandwidth is way to small (~10 khz). I only check at around 6 AM and 6 PM and it seems that it occurs shortly after both times, which make...

SkySonde doesn't recognize V3 dongle [SOLVED]
i figured out how to fix it. I replaced the drivers on "RTL2838UHIDIR (Composite Parent)" in Zadig. SkySonde works fine now. (to see the RTL2838UHIDIR composite device you have to disable "Ignore Hubs or Composite Parents" in Zadig, which is located in the options tab.)

Re: SkySonde doesn't recognize V3 dongle
Dont know if this matters, but i also have two OEM devices listed in SDR# and CubicSDR, even though i only have one RTL-SDR connected. when i try to connect to it, it says "The device is no longer available."

hey, I recently installed SkySonde and its not recognizing my RTL-SDR. it gives the error "Could not connect to selected device, choose a new one. Error: Could not open SDR device, error code: -12". I have an RTL-SDR blog V3 connected through an active USB 2.0 extension cable. The rtlsdr.dll file is...

Re: Decoding FSK
Okay, i did some research. according to the manual for DataRadio Integra (which is the type of transceiver that is used for this), the modulation type is DRCMSK (Differential Raise-Cosine Minimum Shift Keying). now i gotta look for something that can demodulate that
