Re: TETRA Trunk Tracker for use with SDR# and TETRA Demodulator plug-in

Thank you for making this software. Since 2 weeks the Tetra network I'm monitoring having mixed encrypted and unencrypted users. Despite I choose for "only listen to clear speech" I do still hear encrypted calls due some bugs in the Tetra Demodulator plugin. With your trunk tracker those encrypted c...

Re: 10 feet / 3 meters USB extension cord

I will not recommend phone charging cables for SDR's since they have barely to no shielding.

Re: 10 feet / 3 meters USB extension cord

I'm using a passive cable. It's not that special or expensive: https://www.amazon.com/Valueline-male-U ... 00DC3L4GQ/

Ground RTL-SDR to mast. Good or bad idea?

I have a 2 meters aluminum mast tube on the attic with a Diamond X30 antenna mounted on top. On the attic is also my Raspberry Pi rtl_tcp server with a double shielded USB 3.0 extension cable to my RTL-SDR dongle. My idea was to mount the dongle with cable ties to the bottom of the mast so it can di...

10 feet / 3 meters USB extension cord

Can a safely use 10 feet / 3 meters USB extension cord or will it cause problems? I want to use it in between my RTL-SDR dongle and my Raspberry Pi running rtl_tcp. My fear is it will generate buffer overflows.

I'm thinking of buying an USB 3 cable because these are rated for higher bandwidth.

Re: RTL2832U v3 install problem

Are you running the x64 version of SDR#? On their website I only see a x86 version for Windows. I found the x64 version myself but I can neither get this version to work.

Re: Broadcast FM Reject Filter: loose contacts

The filter was fully functional before I did the resoldering job. I just wanted to make sure the connections didn't come of at some point. By both tightening the nuts and tightening the SMA connectors, there will be some force between the SMA socket contacts and the PCB. Especially if the RTL-SDR do...

Re: RTL2832U v3 install problem

Did you run Zadig as an administrator prior to installing the driver? Rightclick the exe and click "run as administrator".
