Wintelive connecting to Linux server? (Tetra decoding)

I know I can decode Tetra with SDR# but I want to monitor more than 1 frequency simultaniously. I have read that (win)telive can decode multiple Tetra frequencies at the same time. I also know there's a tutorial to install the Windows port. Problem in my case is that the RTL-SDR stick isn't connecte...

This topic can be closed. I'm trying to set it up with a different approach and will open a new topic.

Re: SDR# IQ from Sound Card bandwidth

I already tried that in my soundcard settings. And I can't get the Telive port to work with a (virtual) audio cable input. It is expecting samples from a SDR over network.

Even static noise looks like this:

Maybe I need to buy an extra RTL-TCP stick. :P

SDR# IQ from Sound Card bandwidth

I am using SDR# for decoding Tetra with a plugin. Now i want to monitor and decode another Tetra frequency simultaniously. What I tried: Installed AUX VFO plugin and tuned to the 2nd frequency Set the output to VB-Audio virtual audio cable Opened a second screen of SDR# and choose for IQ from Sound ...

Re: rtl-sdr keeps active and hot after killing rtl_tcp in Linux

The results: It doesn't work as expected: kill -3 pid kills the process and giving a quit message generated by rtl_tcp but then it immediately restarts itself if SDR# is still connected or when the process is killed in another SSH session. EDIT: I did more research and it has maybe something to do w...

Re: rtl-sdr keeps active and hot after killing rtl_tcp in Linux

Thank you for helping me pointing in the right direction. I'm using my Raspberry Pi "headless": no keyboard, mouse and monitor. I connect to the terminal with SSH and made a start and stop script for rtl_tcp. Instead of: kill -9 pid I'm now testing: kill -3 pid (which simulates CTRL+C) I'll let you ...

rtl-sdr keeps active and hot after killing rtl_tcp in Linux

Setup: Raspberry Pi 3B+ with Raspbian (Debian) and a rtl-sdr v3 plugged in running rtl_tcp to listen remotely with SDR# on a Windows laptop. If I boot the Raspberry without starting rtl_tcp, the rtl-sdr remains cool, even after a long time. After starting the process the rtl-sdr starts warning up (i...
