Re: Share your results

After several hours of fine tuning, I'm able to get a nice bearing on the ULA (linear array) but, could not get the UCA (Circular array) to get a nice bearing. Anyone else having the same issue? Are we sure the drawing and info on the UCA is good? Antenna radius = λ*s or should it read Antenna spaci...

Re: Direction finding for intermittent signal

GrouchoDuke, I'm also trying to find intermittent beacons. I suggest you play with the Sample Size settings under the DOA Estimation page, right under the Corr. Matrix. I found that a smaller Sample Size will result in a slower moving arrow so you won't see much "jumping around".

Is anyone able to make the DOA Compass work properly weather using the ULA or UCA?

I would like to see examples of the ideal signal form we need in order to get a working direction on the compass.
Example in the user manual are good but not clear on the exact peak or shape of spectrum needed.

Thanks

Re: SBC WIFI not working

SOLVED!

Here's what I did:
Right click the Connections Icon on the task bar, choose Edit Connection, Under Wi-Fi, I choose Kerberos_Tinker then Edit, under Device it showed 2 cards, I chose the second one (wlan0) then save and it works.

Re: SBC WIFI not working

scoutcamper,

I don't see the lines 3 and 9 in the /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/Kerberos_Tinker
but I do see these in the NetworkManager.conf
[main]
plugins=ifupdown,keyfile

[ifupdown]
managed=false

[device]
wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no

SBC WIFI not working

I've followed the Quickstart Guide to install the Tinkerboard Image and it worked. KerberosSDR does run on power up along with VNC. The WIFI shows as Enabled but is not accessible from other devices.
