Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

*allow all four radios to sweep for specific frequencies while simultaneously pushing the info back over a network to a central server that’s designed to monitor stationary positions for such things as commercial drones (include say the “crazy radio 2.4” to expand the range).

Re: KerberosSDR App and bearing server

Yep that’s it. Great work! Using some internal software at the moment but I’ll definitely buy it and try it out. Really looking forward to the possibility of the app outputting info for 3rd party servers.

KerberosSDR App and bearing server

Saw the announcement and scripts for integrating KerberosSDR into the bearing server software. I believe there’s going to be a lot of interest in this and I was wondering, should you choose to allow the android app to output all its info (assuming gps heading bearings etc) to a 3rd party bearing ser...

Atomic Pi

Realize the history behind this device, but thought I’d give it a try for $35 plus whatever it costs for the daughterboard/power.. Would the fact it has a built in compass help should code be added to do something with it? https://dlidirect.com/products/atomic-pi Anyone run the Kerberos software on ...

Re: Getting Started Guide Needed

3 and 5 are incorrect. With the method you are describing Android is the hotspot and the pi is the client, that’s why you’re having to look for the pis address in the list of connected clients on your phone. The only way the pi is the hotspot is if there’s not android or whatever configured with the...

Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

@streets814 Thanks for the AREDN tip! I’ve got a bunch of glinet routers that I’ll try this out on. Funny thing, it’s like full circle, back in 2008 I was making stuff using open-mesh along with a dashboard (https://github.com/alphafox02) that controlled all the equipment. We should essentially do t...

Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

I’m using a mapping program already but this is exciting news and I’ll give that program a try. I think I have my antenna array setup correctly based on your previous answer so long as I position antenna 1 north and arrange antenna 2, 3, and 4 according to the circular array diagram in the quick sta...

Re: Feedback on possible KerberosSDR V2 Hardware

You guys familiar with the rashawk? https://www.rtl-sdr.com/signal-direction-finding-with-an-rtl-sdr-raspberry-pi-and-redhawk/rashawk/ In all honesty I recall getting in touch with those people and it never really worked, but essentially what I’m doing with the current Kerberos setup is using mappin...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Compatible Image Released

Don’t forget to change the IP address line in run.sh and comment out the section it mentions that deals with automatically getting the wifi0 address. Keep in mind, unless you wire it to a router and attach the phone with the android WiFi app I can’t imagine it’d do you much good, but then again I’m ...
