Re: LNA-FMBANDSTOP-RTLSDR

I would expect that the 5 volts leaving the SDR to power the LNA... having to pass through the FM Band Stop Filter 'may' destroy it or the 5 volts would simply not get past it (e.g. depending on the design and placement of capacitors within it). If you really needed to do this then you would probabl...

Thats great Ambro, I happy to hear that you have it working.
Are you using WxTrack or FastWxTrack to update SDR# frequency ?

Ambro,

The second last line in your plugins.xml file... 'DDE Tracking Client.....' remove that line and try again. I do not have or need that entry.

Re: sdr sharp and wxtrack ... how to...

Ambro, In your first screen shot, it's the 4th file down 'plugins'. The full name of this file is 'plugins.xml', but you have your system set to not show the file extension ('xml'). Right click on this file and choose to edit or open it with Notepad or a similar text editor. I use the excellent, fre...

Re: sdr sharp and wxtrack ... how to...

Ambro,

I can not see any file attached in your last post.
You do not need to edit any 'cfg' file in SDR#.. But you must add this line to the plugins.xml file :

<add key="DDE Tracker" value="SDRSharp.DDETracker.DdeTrackingPlugin,SDRSharp.DDETracker" />

Re: sdr sharp and wxtrack ... how to...

Ambro, You first need to setup SDR# and WxTrack correctly. Firstly download up to date satellite elements and place the sats you are interested in into group 1 (for example). You then need to edit the 'frequencies.ini' file (in the WxTrack folder) with a text editor to add the frequencies for the sa...

Remotely Operating and SDR dongle

Hey All, I'd like to set up an antenna and an SDR dongle attached to a PC hooked to the internet on the roof of my workplace in the city. The idea is to set this all up so I can access and operate this SDR from my home using software like SDR Sharp or similar to tune and listen ? I'm sure this is po...
