Re: Dell OptiPlex 7050 wont' recognize dongle.

when running SDRSharp, there's no pull-down for source
Can you show a screenshot of what you mean? The SDR# software has nothing to do with the dongle install itself.

Re: 2nd dongle gobbledy gook.

Can you run both dongles with two instances SDR#?

Maybe your USB ports can't handle two dongles. Can you try the rear USB ports on your PC if possible?

Re: RTL-SDR Startup help

Seems to be a SDRTrunk specific error.

Is the dongle working with another program like SDR#?

Re: 900-928 mhz Wireless Pool Controller?

Two ideas to get you started: 1) Find and record the signal with an RTL-SDR or other SDR. Retransmit the recording directly using RPiTX or a TX capable SDR. Downside is that the recording and retransmission may not be perfect so it could introduce problems. 2) Use Universal Radio Hacker to reverse e...

Re: up-/down-converter, what is the best IF frequency to use?

That curve shows 24 MHz - 1.7 GHz.

I think your main issue to think about is upconverting to an empty band without strong signals. So avoiding the broadcast FM band for sure. Sensitivity and spurs around 50 - 200 MHz is about the same, so empty bands should be your main consideration.

Re: V3 dongle and SDR# 1811

On rtl_tcp you can just add the "-T" flag, which will activate the bias tee whenever rtl_tcp starts.

If rtl_tcp -h doesn't show information about -T, you might have a very old version. Would recommend getting the latest version from the Osmocom Git then.

Re: How to Work With Simultaneous Data From Multiple RTL-SDR's in MATLAB/Simulink?

The delays will definitely be different when the datastream is interrupted, you'll need to develop a method where the datastream is always going which is what we did with kerberos. USB introduces quite large delays. Also make sure you're using a RTL-SDR driver with the "dither" option able to be tur...

Re: Virtual Audio Cable

In Linux you can generally just use the "pipe" command "|" on the command line to combine the output of programs together. If you happen to have a program that doesn't accept command line input, then have a look at the audio piping setup in this tutorial https://www.rtl-sdr.com/tutorial-setting-up-a...

I think that's only if used as a DVB-T demodulator. Not sure about the IQ mode.
