Hi Jeromebi, There used to be a set of tools on the rtl-sdr.ru site. But they will only work with older versions of sdr# V1500 and some earlier versions. Please see picture. Evap1 Narrow Bandwidth1.png

Hi Estario, Did some pictures for you from this evening's Noaa-18 Pass. (Noise in your Waterfall). You seem to have the gain too high and this will introduce noise and also pull in other close-by signals. Try to set the FFT screen to 50 or 60 and adjust the gain to suit. Hi Estario, Convenience is the word. Coax is in plentiful supply, easy to work with and resistant to the elements, the outer sheath is proven against UV rays water ingress etc. If you did use bare copper you would have protect it. Aluminium is not straightforward connection-wise to your Coax feed-li...
