Re: Linux PC -- No supported device found. WTF?

Hello, I am running into this same problem and running it through a hub doesn't help. Can you post some of the text from dmesg when this is running properly, such as the idVendor? I still don't know what to look for in dmesg if the Kerberos SDR is running properly. Certainly, the rtl_test isn't wor...

Re: DOA on Intermittent Signals

I'm also curious what the status of the new software is. I've been holding off making significant changes to the current software since the new software is coming out soon.

Re: Getting directions / heatmap on Linux PC directly

The mapping software it's built on doesn't really do directions. I guess I could provide a Google maps link or something, but that wasn't really the focus of this software. Currently, clicking on an ellipse will give you coordinates you can copy-paste into Google maps.

Re: Getting directions / heatmap on Linux PC directly

DF-Aggregator will get you a satellite and street map on your PC: https://github.com/ckoval7/df-aggregator However it will not do directions or a heat map. Instead of a heat map it will generate ellipses with a large green dot marking the center. It'll also require an internet connection unless you ...

Re: Suitable Linux distributives for KerberosSDR

Debian is a very minimalist OS. The one time I used it recently it didn't even have sudo installed. As far as I'm aware, most of the development and testing for KSDR is done on Ubuntu and Raspbian.

DF-Aggregator: Now with Single Receiver Mode

Up until now, DF-Aggregator (DFA) has been specifically for multi-receiver networked direction finding. I've been working hard over the last few weeks adding a "Single Receiver Mode" to DFA. Single RX Mode gives you functionality similar to, but hopefuly better than the KerberosSDR Android app. All ...

Re: New Networked DFing software

I may have accidentally cut it from the video but it turned out team two Pi’s gps was recognized as ttyUSB1 instead of 0. So it wasn’t actually starting but somehow the software started? I went in and fixed the conf file and restarted gpsd, checked fix with xgps, then restarted everything. I also s...

DragonOS Focal KerberosSDR x3 Mobile w/ DF-Aggregator Direction Finding Attempt 1 (Partial Success) https://youtu.be/qhHuVxakjlM I didn’t have time to edit out all the dead spots but I was able to shorten it some. I made some setup mistakes that I tried fixing on the fly and there was a weird thing...

Re: New Networked DFing software

I just got back and can confirm that a git clone of the original KerberosSDr software does display the compass page after being started. If I go checkout either the qt4 or qt5 branch of your version the compass page is not displayed. I think maybe this was part of my problem? Maybe not. I should’ve...
