Re: Unitrunker issue??

Sounds like an issue with your virtual audio cable. Check to see in Windows recording properties that you VAC is set up correctly, and is not muted or on low volume or anything like that. SDR# needs to be outputting to the VAC. Also try setting VAC as your default audio device.

Re: ATU'S

Yes what i've seen commonly done is long wire -> 9:1 unun -> antenna tuner -> rtl-sdr. The 9:1 unun should already help a lot with long wire reception even without the antenna tuner.

Re: Will not work

Make sure SDR# is set to RTLSDR/USB and not anything else. In the Configure button menu make sure you sample rate is set to about 2Msps, Quadrature Mode and make sure you've increased the RF gain. Post a screenshot of your settings if your stuck.

NXDN might only be available in the preview version, so try download that.

Re: Zadig can't Find a Driver for Terratec E4000 Stick

You shouldn't need to reinstall the driver as its the same driver for both the R820T and E4000.

Did you run zadig as administrator?

Set the driver after the green arrow to WinUSB and click install driver. What happens after?

Re: IR Remote control

I remember a about half a year ago someone on the SDRsharp forums (i think) made or used some existing software to control SDRSharp via the IR remote. That's the only SDR related use of the remote i've seen so far :D

Re: New RTL-SDR setup help

Your friend is referring to scanning and following trunked radio 1) It will be fine to mix and match RTL-SDR dongles 2) Not sure how to find out other than asking the companies who provide that service in your country. If it's encrypted it's highly unlikely you'll ever be able to listen to those cha...

Re: Errors on Rafael Micro R820T

Haven't seen that error before, but with on Google I found references to people saying that it is probably a power issue. Have you got it connected to a long USB extension cable, low powered USB port, or mistakenly plugged it into a USB1.0 port? The dongle needs USB2.0 and some USB ports on embedded...

Re: Help Picking Up Baby Monitor

Hey, filter settings are probably not the problem. Is the device analog or digital? If the audio is digital you won't be able to easily decode the signal using NFM, even if it isn't encrypted. One of those various beeps may be the digital audio signal. Looking at the product description, it does men...

Re: SDR CCTV Video Output

These dongles are meant for digital DVB-T TV, I don't think CCTV would be broadcast using the same standard. Plus, in SDR mode the bandwidth available is much less than what DVB-T needs. If it's unencrypted analogue CCTV, try TVSharp http://www.rtl-sdr.com/analogue-tv-with-rtl-sdr/. For digital or e...
