Looking for old SDR# source (SVN) from March or April

Post by jonnycat » Fri Oct 10, 2014 1:03 am

Hi all, I picked up an RTL820T dongle earlier this year, and played around with it on one of my Windows computers. I didn't have the time back then to try and use SDR# with mono under Linux (using the guidelines from http://rtlsdr.org/softwarelinux), and kind of shelved it until now.

Unfortunately, as everyone knows, the current source code is no longer open, so now that I have the time to try this I'm SOL as far as getting the current SVN source.

Does anyone possibly still have the SVN source from back in March or April, when it still worked under mono? I kind of still want to see if I can get it working, even if it isn't the latest and greatest. Thanks!

I don't have a source but tbh, I wouldn't really bother with SDR# in Linux in the first place. It was never really fully stable and was quite slow under Mono.

Better to just use GQRX which is somewhat similar to SDR#.

Yeah, GQRX works pretty well, but it doesn't have a scanner plugin which I need for my local airband frequencies.
