Post by Username » Wed Oct 19, 2016 11:00 pm

NESDR SMArt Premium 23,60€
NooElec NESDR Mini+ 33,58€
NooElec NESDR XTR 34,70€
NooElec NESDR XTR+ 36,94€

NooElec NESDR Mini+ Al: 0.5PPM TCXO RTL-SDR Receiver, RTL2832U & R820T Aluminum --> 53,26€ ! :shock:

So what is good? Ok 14€ more between the cheap and the more expence is ok but 54€ for an SDR????

At those prices you're better off getting an Airspy Mini or SDRplay.

But i'm sure that those are not the official prices. Those are probably relisting bots that take the original listing, and relist it at a higher price, hoping that someone will accidentally buy from them instead of the original seller.

Are you sure the 53 euro one is by that seller?

The E4000 is only more expensive because they stopped making those chips, and now their rare.

It's not really any better than the R820T/2 (actually the R820T/2 is much better for most uses), but it does have an advantage of being able to tune to about 2.2 GHz.

Hmm not sure why that one is so expensive. It's just a regular R820T RTL-SDR with a TCXO and aluminum case.

How about that:

NESDR SMArt Premium 23,60€
NooElec NESDR Mini+ 33,58€
NooElec NESDR XTR 34,70€
NooElec NESDR XTR+ 36,94€

I use some cheap SDR and yes the Work.

The SMART is the closest one they have to our V3 dongle. That's probably the best one they have.

The Mini+ is just a regular dongle with a TCXO in it.

The XTR is the E4000 model, but you don't really need that unless you need those frequencies above 1.7 GHz.

I think the SMArt and SMArt premium are the same thing, just different wording.
