Air spy

Can anyone help. I have used air spy and it works fine but I can not install it permanently on my pc I have to go though all the installation every time I want to use it is this normal or am I just missing something. Thanks. Dave

Are you talking about SDR#? Why do you have to through the install each time? That is not normal. What happens if you don't?

If it's SDR#, all the needed files may not have been transferred to the SDR# folder. Are rtlsdr.dll and libusb-1.0.dll there?
Did you run zadig.exe and install-rtlsdr.bat?

Is it Win10 force-updating the dongle-driver perhaps?

If Win10 'thinks' it has a more appropriate driver than the zadig-driver.

I know Win7 keeps asking if it should install the 'recommended driver', but luckily it doesn't force-install it. I'm not sure if Win10 is just as cooperative...
