Hello everyone,
I have been trying to set up the UDP Audio Streaming plugin in SDR# but I am getting nowhere. I am using
VLC to decode the stream but any combination of IP addresses and ports that i try do not work. I will eventually be using VNC to monitor either a headless Raspberry Pi running Raspian and GQRX or a Windows PC running SDR#. GQRX is still not running on the R Pi so for now I am practicing with SDR#. Does anyone know exactly what addresses to use?
PC, SDR# IP address =
Remote PC, IP address =
For example i tried udp:// in the SDR# plug in and udp:// in VLC. I can't seem to find much on UDP.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Chris Josack, KC3OTC

I found this in my notes from a couple years ago.

gqrx udp cmd line reception

cvlc --demux=rawaud --rawaud-channels=1 --rawaud-samplerate=8000 udp://@:7756rawaud --rawaud-channels=1 --rawaud-samplerate=48000 udp://@:7756

If I wrote it down worked at the time....actually , I think it's a cut n paste
edit: I just tested this successfully with a minor tweak to syntax ....--rawaud-samplerate=8000
I've edited the line. This one won't launch the vlc gui...just striaght cmd line. You can experiment with sampling. Be sure to match up your ports with what you have selected in gqrx
