Tablet for SDR

I have SDR# with freq manager, scanner and DMR plugin running on my laptop. I also have Unitrunker up and running. If I were to get a Microsoft Surface tablet, or another tablet, can I load and run these programs just like I do on my laptop? I would like to have a tablet running one program and the other on my laptop.

I've used a Surface Pro 2 (circa 2015) for rtl-sdr applications, and it's really worked well. I don't foresee any problems with the newer surface tablets, especially if you stick to an i5 or better processor.

My mother has an old Surface 2 she hasn't used in a few years that she gave to me. Once I get a charger for it I will try using that.

So I acquired a Surface 2 with Windows RT 8.1. I've downloaded SDRSharp, Tried downloading .NET 5.0. Anything I try I come up with a message "this app can't run on your PC". Any ideas?

The Surface RT is closer to an Android tablet than a computer. I have the Surface Pro, which is more like a laptop.
