How to do your own FFT Waterfall Diagram w/ RTL-SDR? [Python

Ahoi,

I am trying to analyze an IQ-baseband recording like SDRsharp does with its fft and waterfall diagram.
I did a sdrsharp record[0] and also applied numpy on it[1]. It is similar, but not exactly the same.

I used both parts, the i and q parts, as real and complex parts directly. But I still don't know why the "intensity pattern" doesn't fully match the pattern of sdrsharp.

Could you help me a bit further? My code[2] and the original sdrsharp wav[3] are there, too.

My aim is to find active channels on frequencies within the monitored band. But for that, I need to have the active frequencies at the rightlocation.

Move the left half of your fft result to the right side. That will do the trick.
