Dear friends, I recently became a ham radio, and I was interested in meteorological satellites, to download images. I bought an RTL SDR and started downloading the NOAA maps. But I would like to continue with other satellites, especially full-fledged satellites, such as GOES or the satellites spoken of in this forum.

I only have one RTL SDR, one quadruple antenna for the Noaas, and one Directv antenna I don’t use. That Directv antenna and the SDR can be used? Can you help me? Thank you now.

Hi Daniel. If you are in Argentina you will be able to receive GOES 16 and 17 geostationary weather sats. I don't have direct experience with these as they are below my horizon. You will need a different antenna. Most people are using 1 metre grid antennas, Nooelec GOES Sawbird filters and an SDR that can reach at least 1.7gHz.

There is a lot of info in this thread here that may help.

Where is your current location? Europe? USA?

Such photographs have undergone deep processing and even despite this, we can not see anything important there. Photo processing is a rather complex process that requires certain skills and software. Those who are familiar with editing photos on smartphones know that it is often very difficult to choose a program for editing, but I found a great solution. I downloaded the program from this link https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... e.picverse and this program opened up a completely different level of photo editing for me.
