Next production i'll order a few excess enclosures and put them up again. Maybe ~1-2ish months.

Hey, rtlsdrblog!

I noticed the enclosures are now on sale again in the shop. Planning to buy some. Guessing from the picture, am I correct to assume that each piece will ship with the main chassis, one USB side panel and *two* SMA panels?

Thanks!

Hey, yep they're here now, planning to do an announcement post about them soon.

But yes they come with everything in the picture, that's two SMA side panels and one USB side panel.

Can you talk to this guys to make proper one?
https://www.ebay.com/str/gpiolabs

Do you know where I can get some for my "old" DVB-T dongle?
I will order from mouser some SMA Connectors. If I can grab some of that case I need to buy: https://www.mouser.at/ProductDetail/Lin ... w2fIB7Q%3d

That link doesn't work?

Unfortunately I don't think there's any metal cases for the old style dongles available. You'd probably have to custom make one of a small tin or sheet metal etc.

Which?

Your could fit: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/buy-rtl-sdr-dvb-t-dongles/ -> Spare Aluminum Metal Enclosure

what is the size for thinks who fit in?
Mine look like quite the same just longer:

When I remove the IR diode and replace the Antenna Connector the might fit in.
I asked Mouser for some Thermal Gue (or how the spelled) that is Thermal Conductive and non Electric Conductive.
The soloutin is put the Dongle inside and fill it the the Termal Gue. If the went death well...

That antenna connector might be a bit big IMHO for the v3 enclosure. Perhaps replacing it with a SMA connector will do the trick. You will need some soldering skills though and be sure to order an appropriate SMA connector that will fit in the void. As a bonus you won't have to modify the side panels in any way although you'll still have to reduce the main chassis length accordingly.

Regarding thermal pad I'd just order some cheap one (5mm thickness) from ebay/aliexpress.
