If you do a -h, does it still show the bias tee option? Maybe you didn't do a sudo make install or the old version is still there for some reason.

I have had gr-iridum working with the V3 bias tee in the past using the method of turning the bias tee on first then running gr-iridium so it should work.

But anyway those cheap 12v LNAs on eBay are still pretty good and can do the job just fine.

where would i run the -h option? in the meantime, i reinstalled the gr-osmocom drivers and now get "ImportError: /usr/local/lib/libgnuradio-osmosdr-0.1.5git.so.0.0.0: undefined symbol: rtlsdr_set_bias_tee" when starting gr-iridium. might be getting to the stage where i need to do a complete gnuradio uninstall/reinstall. ended up buying the jan electronics pga 103 + lna, so we will see how we go.

e.g. rtl_fm -h, that will show the help file for rtl_fm.

If you're getting that importerror then it means that your driver install is messed up and you have a mixture of drivers installed somehow. Probably best to remove everything and start from a clean install.

Nice! Sometimes a reinstall is the only way to get things working again unless you have intricate knowledge of Linux.
