SondeMonitor wont decode anything

hey,
I just installed sondemonitor and it doesn't seem to be decoding anything. Ive tried live signals and recorded ones. i can see the raw waveform moving and i have made sure to set the proper type, so i don't understand what is wrong.

Screenshots? Make sure that the waveform isn't clipping (not squarish), and that the volume is sufficient.

The volume is as high as I can get it without causing it to clip in SondeMonitor. I am away from my computer and I can’t get any pictures right now.

That signal looks pretty weak, it might not be strong enough to decode.

Got a link to the recorded ones you were testing with? I'll try with my SondeMonitor.

I was using some of the videos from boulderplex on YouTube. The live signal sounded just fine to me, it could’ve just been the timing in the screenshot.

Ah apparently there's some bug in Windows 10. You must run Sondemonitor as administrator to make it work now or it won't decode anything.

so i can confirm that sondemonitor works with some types now, but i cant get it to work with LMS-6, which is what I need it to do.

Not sure, I couldn't get LMS-6 to work with the demo sounds on YouTube either. But in SondeMonitor help it says:

Note that the LMS-6 telemetry is a baseband representation of an asynchronous serial data stream. That means that it may have a dc component and so a simple audio connection from a receiver speaker socket to the PC audio input may not work. It is recommended to use a discriminator tap that preserves the lowest frequencies to decode this telemetry.

So maybe ensure that in SDR# "Filter Audio" is turned off, as that can remove some of the lower frequencies. Perhaps YouTube compression removes those components too. Ask on the SondeMonitor Yahoo groups too https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/son ... info?tab=s.
