DC spike in center RTL_TCP.

Post by AlarmedFelix » Sat Jun 30, 2018 6:09 am

Hi guys i have raspberry pi connect to my generic RTL-SDR dongle and using RTL_TCP for stream data to my computer in my shack but there is a DC spike in center which produces lot of noise when station is on that spike. I had similar problem on my pc RTL-SDR dongle directly connected into it and it just needed to uncheck and check OFFSET TUNING box in SDR#. But there is no option like this.
Please help.

Are you using an E4000 based dongle? Unfortunately I don't think offset tuning is implemented for rtl_tcp.

I believe the code is there, just not enabled as a flag. If you can code you can probably simply edit the code to force it on.
