SDR# questions for those that know.

Post by Hystorm » Sat Jul 27, 2019 3:37 pm

A few SDR# questions:

> Sometimes, I have to click twice on a signal before it actually goes to that signal.

Does anyone else have that issue?

> Sometimes the mouse wheel for fine adjusting the frequency, changes direction.

Up is normally up, but then suddenly, it changes to down.

Anyone else experienced that?

> Last question: Why is there no Squelch for the side bands and wfm?

Thanks in advance.

No

No.

Could be some mouse-driver related issue. Or if it's wireless perhaps some issues with that.
Or perhaps if it's older a worn out button.

I use a wired mouse on Windows-10 and SDR# behaves correctly.

I did have a previous mouse that began to double-click more and more often even though I single-clicked. Turned out it was just worn out and had been used too much for too long (I don't know how many clicks a mouse is generally rated to work for, but apparently there is a limit)

this happens when you're use defective mouse. It seems that your mouse has failed and needs to be replaced.

Squelch disables audio when there is no strong signal, SSB signals are weak and too small power, so squelch works bad for SSB.
