RTL-SDR Component ID help

Post by ny4q » Tue May 11, 2021 2:46 pm

Anyone know what the part number is for this chip (circled in red). I had a USB bridge go nuts and pipe in 12VDC and three receivers took a hit in the same spot.

Thanks for any help!

Got a reply on REDDIT that is is most-likely a 1.2V LDO, so I ordered up some from Mouser. Wish me luck.

This is a 1.2v DCDC switching regulator chip. I'm not surprised that it burned up with 12V applied!

Unfortunately it's a Chinese market part, so not easy to get a direct replacement. You'll need to confirm the pinout but something like LM3670MF-1.2/NOPB might work.
