393Mhz signal identification

393Mhz signal identification

Hi, i'm new to rtl-sdr world and try some signal identification with a RTL2832U under Linux.

I was tuning in the 393Mhz and see strange signal :

Same signal another day with a lot of noise

Yep look up the band plan for your country (if its available). You're on an island so it should be relatively easy to pinpoint the transmit tower and the company sending those signals.

Looks to me more like splatter from another frequency. Given that it appears across the spectrum at the same time, I doubt that's the actual peak of the transmission. It's probably located somewhere else, and you're just seeing the stronger spikes here on this harmonic.

I'm dubious of any signal received in several places at the same time :lol:
