Coherent SDR for Simulcast Reception

Wondering if a multi-antenna coherent SDR could potentially offer any benefits of improving reception of an analog FM simulcast system in an area with heavy overlap distortion. Off the top of my head I'm not sure it would do much, but I'm not smart enough to know for sure.

Thanks,

Andy

It's an analog simulcast public-safety paging system (narrowband FM two-tone voice paging), not FM broadcast.
