Make sure your smartphone has access to the internet while running Kerberos. Depending on how you have the network configured to work with Kerberos, you might not, and then RDF Mapper wont work.

Thank you for your reply .
I am well connected to the internet with the Kerberos sdr app on the smartphone since it downloads the cards in mobile and it leads me to the point of my research. (It works very well)
The concern is the connection with the server: http.//rdf.musther.net/
which is not done.
Has anyone tried to connect to RDF Mapper?

I re-downloaded the Kerberos sdr app but it's still the same.

I do not know what to do anymore .

Did you add the RDF mapper server URL in the Android App, and change the station name? By default the mapping server URL is NOT set, to avoid people who didn't buy his software from accidentally spamming the third party server.

Good evening. I purchased the software a few days ago but just now got around to taking a look. Here’s something that jumps out at me that may be causing your issue. The android app gives an example of (https://www.musther.net) as the bearing server. However reviewing the manual and taking a look at rdfmapper on Windows under the bearing server you’ll see it shows http://rdf.mapper.net and if in fact you stick https and test the url in your browser you’ll see it’s a dead link. However the http url works in a browser. I don’t have my KerberosSDr here to generate any data so I don’t know if that’s still why I get station not found or if it’s something else.

Edit: sorry I see you mentioned what looks to be the correct url so not sure what’s wrong. I have to wait till I have my KerberosSDr to do any further testing.

Hello Awdmesth

To see your station and the position on Rdf Mapper I think that Kerberos material is not essential.
Just have the Kerberos app on the smartphone and enter the server url and your mobile station name and do it and you should see yourself on the Rdf Mapper map with your location.
At least that's what I think.
Anyway I tried the 2 solutions with and without Kerberos and it doesn't work.
In my opinion the problem comes from the Kerberos app which does not connect
to the Rdf Mapper server.
As soon as you take the tests please keep me informed of the results.
Thank you

Hello
I just wrote to Jonathan Musther to find out if my configuration was good in Rdf Mapper and Kerberos about the server or if I was doing something wrong.
Here is his answer.
Hello,

I bought Rdf Mapper to do direction finding with a Kerberos sdr.
But I can't send my position from my smartphone with Kerberos software, on the Rdf Mapper server which is: http://rdf.musther.net/
I am well connected on the internet with the smartphone since I download the maps in mobile on the Kerberos software.

On Rdf Maper.I am connecting to the server, but it cannot find the mobile station.

I attach the photo files of my configuration on the 2 Kerberos and Rdf Mapper software.

Thanks if you can tell me what's wrong with my configuration.

Etienne

Hello,

It appears that the bearing data is not downloaded by the Kerberos application. I took a look at the server and I don't see any sign of the data from the station 'fr666'. Can you try to contact the Kerberos developers as it seems that the problem is with downloading rather than downloading in RDFMapper.

Sincere friendships,

Jonathan Musther

Ps : Sorry i don't know how to attach the photos

Ok sorry my mistake, the server address you need to point the App to is http://rdf.musther.net/save.php. You must add the "/save.php" part for it to work.
