Kerberos SDR Log File

Post by guzinmf_2017 » Tue May 19, 2020 2:38 pm

Looking for any help with this, but I am curious how exactly to interpret the log files created by the Android app? The android produces a CSV file that can be viewed in excel and there are no column labels associated with the data. I can only assume that some of the columns represent the azimuth of a LOB, the confidence, and the amplitude, but some of the other numbers are less clear as to what they are.

The headings are "lat, lng, gps bearing, compass bearing, RDF bearing, confidence, power"

Thank you, now a follow up question, I understand the readings for all the data except some of the values for "compass heading". For these measurements I am seeing values greater then 360 degrees for the compass heading. Is this conversion from some other measurement, or does this correlate to a magnetic value I am possible unfamiliar with? I am seeing values ranging from 439 up to over 500 in some instances. I am unclear how a compass heading can be greater then 360degrees.

Unless you're in compass mode, I think it's going to give nonsense results for the compass reading since the compass will have been turned off.

Hey, I am trying to get the csv file on the pi, is there any way I can access the csv file without the app or compass log file download option from web interface?

The CSV file is generated on Android because only the phone has the GPS and compass sensor. The Pi doesn't have that.

Not sure how it would be done, but you could try sharing the KerberosSDR folder on something like Onedrive, then you'd be able to easily access that CSV file.
